“When I think of her, of Elisa, all that comes to mind is a poem, made of just a few truthful words, whispered by someone in love, hundreds of years ago: ‘Unable to perceive the shape of you, I find you all around me. Your presence fills my eyes with your love. It humbles my heart, for you are everywhere.’ ”
“当我想到她,想到Elisa,我脑袋中就会浮现一首诗,言简意赅,几百年前一个坠入爱河的人细语而出:‘描绘不出你的形状,我只觉得你环绕着我。你的存在用爱意填满了我的眼睛。你无处不在,击溃了我的心’ ”
听到结尾这首诗的念白时我直接坐在电影院泪流满面到字幕结束。
导演本人说忘了这句诗的具体出处,只记得是来自一首他偶然在书店翻到的伊斯兰诗歌。
有些导演对特定的题材有着特别的偏好。
比如《水形物语》的导演“陀螺”,吉尔莫·德尔·托罗。
从《鬼童院》到《地狱男孩》,从让他蜚声国际的《潘神的迷宫》到好莱坞大制作《环太平洋》,“怪物”始终是“陀螺”最私人化的主题。
而这部《水形物语》终于为他的“怪物”电影正名了
先是威尼斯电影节金狮奖,后夺金球奖最佳导演奖,奥斯卡小金人也在向张开热情的怀抱。
正如他在威尼斯获奖时候说的“我相信爱,我相信生命,我相信电影”,他的“怪物”永远都比人更有“爱”。
